And … the price is a steal so I at least wanted to mention it while it is still such a bargain.
Developer Glen Barnhardt has written several other nifty pieces of software, and now he has come out with "The Landing Page System". I bought it within a few minutes of seeing the first product announcement.
It comes with two short videos that take you step-by-step through the installation process, and show you the basics of configuring the system. There's also a 40 page PDF manual, the first part of which is a recap of the sales letter – but the latter part gives you some very good examples of how to use the software, and in particular, how to create landing pages that "pre-sell" the opt-in to your web form.
I've used similar (and much more expensive) software before, so I know the value of some of the features in this package, and of "pre-selling" the opt-in.
So what is the heart of the system? The Landing Page System creates dynamic pages. Big deal you say?
Well, listen up. Would you like to be able to run PPC ads for products you represent as an affiliate? You can, but the big PPC providers, such as Adwords, will only list one affiliate link per product per page of search results, leaving all the other affiliates who bid lower out of luck.
People get around that by creating custom landing pages, but to do that correctly, you would need one page for each key word or phrase you wanted to target. LPS helps you get around that by creating a custom landing page that has quality content on it, and is dynamically generated. And you can set it up to include the exact key word or phrase that your site visitor was searching for.
Starting to get the picture? You can create unique landing pages for every key word that you use in your PPC ads, simply by creating one page template, and then using "tags" to insert your key words dynamically into the pages.
You end up setting things up so that whatever keyword phrase got your site visitor to see your PPC ad also shows up on your landing page. For instance, if your site visitor did a natural search for "landing pages" and then saw your PPC ad, when they get to your site, "landing pages" is right there in the headline.
Do you think that would help you get opt-ins or clicks on through to whatever product you sell or represent as an affiliate? I sure do … they searched for a specific word or phrase to begin with, and there it is, smack dab in the headline of your page…
You can also insert the "tracking tags" that many CPA networks allow you to use (and very recently, Clickbank allows this, too) so you can track the success of each of your campaigns, but not reveal your keyword list to your competitors. You do know that they can spy on you, don't you? Well, not when you use dynamically generated pages.
AND you can create dynamic "squeeze pages" that will invisibly add a tracking tag when people subscribe to your autoresponder, so you can tell what page on your site they opted in from, or what keyword(s) were associated with the opt-in.
Once you know that, you can instantly sort your list into sublists that send targeted emails precisely tailored to what your visitor was looking for when they opted in to your list.
This is a powerful piece of software! Many "super affiliates" create squeeze pages to capture visitor emails before sending them to the vendor's site – LPS does that, too.
Now, this system is not quite "point and click easy". You do have to install the script on your web server, input your key words, and tweak one of the three landing page templates that they give you, or create your own.
The videos that come with the software show you how to do all of that, except for editing the html on your landing page – that you need to know how to do, or need to be able to hire someone to do for you (an "elancer" for instance).
For my money, The Landing Page System software sure looks like a bargain, particularly at the introductory price, which goes up every few days during the launch. For that matter, it will still be a bargain at the final selling price, but if you hurry, you can get a great deal and be creating your own dynamic landing pages in an hour or two.
